Tomorrow's ride - ie 31 October. Isn't it exactly the same ride we did on 13 June?
-
Hi all Simon's wife here. His chain broke on the way to St Pancras this morning so had to go home and get another bike. He could be 30 minutes late unless he can catch you up at Orpington.

Yes, please put it on the website. 0934 Charing Cross, 0943 London Bridge, arrive Knockholt 1019. 60km, could be shorter or longer depending on how people feel, mostly yellow roads and one unsurfaced road. Hilly.

There's no ride advertised for this Thursday, 26th September. Would anyone like to join me for a 60km ride from Knockholt into Kent? 0934 from Charing Cross?

Why has the rides list discontinued the term Blue Thursday Oyster Card Cult? Surely we don't fear the reaper?
-
This Thursday we'll be leaving Coulsdon South by the "rear" exit. The "downside" platform. So anyone going straight there, don't wait on the ticket office side.

But National Rail Enquiries says that train takes non-folding bikes from St Pancras: http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/details?outboundJourneyId=1&outboundFareId=8&outboundResponseId=4&isOutboundJourneySelected=true

Train is St Pancras 0945, London Bridge 0959 , East Croydon 1014, Coulsdon South 1022; from Victoria any train to East Croydon and change there. Distance not more than 50km; mostly minor roads, some hills.

There's currently no ride on Thursday 6th June. I'd be willing to lead a shorter ride, with hills, probably from Coulsdon South. Anyone interested? I'd need some leader guidance.
