What are the guidelines for group rides?
What are the guidelines for group rides? Are we allowed to take trains? I have been fancying doing the ride from Folkestone to Dungeness again which is pretty flat (so boring to a lot of people) but I love the alien landscape. If taking trains is allowed it would make a simple 1 star ride I think.

5.1 Who is allowed to travel on public transport?
If you need to travel to work or make an essential journey, you should cycle or walk if you can, but you can use public transport if this is not possible. Before you travel on public transport, consider if your journey is necessary and if you can, stay local. Try to reduce your travel. This will help keep the transport network running and allows people who need to make essential journeys to travel safely.
And5.2 Should people wear face coverings on public transport?
Yes. It is a legal requirement to wear a face covering on public transport. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do#public-transport
Currently Central London CTC faqs state "we cannot use trains" and we must limit the group to six https://centrallondonctc.org.uk/faq.So we cannot list a ride that is train-assisted. Please see our rides page for examples of what is possible https://centrallondonctc.org.uk/rides
I think we should wait at least until the published guidance on gov.uk is updated, but hopefully train-assisted rides may be back soon ...
No change in max group size of six yet, but there are more relaxations coming on 1st August, so maybe then ...
