Cycle to work buddy
Good morning friends, I hop everyone is well.
To relieve pressure on the NHS in London, could we consider setting up a cycle to work buddy scheme for London key workers?
The aim would be allow key workers in our local area to get safely to work by instilling confidence to cycle there instead of taking public transport.
Perhaps we could even provide one them with one of our many bikes?

I personally do not agree with this as I think cyclists should be able to support other cyclists. But we cannot use this forum to contravene the advice from Cycling UK. Even if that advice is bad (in my opinion).

The London Cycling Campaign would be the logical organisation to adopt a cycle to work buddy scheme but they are only supporting people to cycle on their own https://lcc.org.uk/pages/cycling-advice-2020
You could contact them and ask if they would support such a buddy scheme during the crisis.
